Simple Sign Up

Role: Visual Designer

This project intent was to update Simple’s sign up flow to match the new brand identity. We found that when we just updated Simple's sign up flow with the color and type, we lost some of the playful and friendly tone. It was my responsibility to bring that tone back using typography, color, and graphic elements. This project went through a number of interactions with varying levels of innovation, but the solution we settled on was simple with minimal changes, but well thought out. I made sure to be consistent and decisive regarding spacing and typography. In order to manage the workflow of this project, I created an epic in github breaking down each piece of the redesign: color values, updating the illustrations, updating the logo, stepper, heading style, buttons, typography, and spacing. Developers had an invision prototype for reference along with images and descriptions in each individual github issue.
