Flight Pulse Pre-Flight
Role: UX Designer
Flight Pulse is an iPad app that leverages GE’s EMS solution to surface pilot data after a pilot completes their flight. How might we take that historical data in aggregate form and surface it before a pilot flies, in order to inform safer and more efficient flights?
My role on this project was sole UX Designer and workshop facilitator responsible for driving design strategy and managing and on-boarding additional resources including two part time product designers and one remote user researcher. Also responsible for creating and driving the three month product roadmap
This “Pre-Flight” product is being built in partnership with Qantas airlines, with both companies sharing in development responsibility and eventual commercialization of the product.
