Condition Based Maintenance

Condition Based Maintenance Insights is a project for a citizen government contractor interested in increasing and enabling military readiness by switching from calendar based maintenance to condition based and predictive maintenance on their machinery.
During this project, myself, a design manager, a solutions architect, and a mechanical engineer lived and worked with the crew for a week in order to conduct anthropological user research and get a handle on what their maintenance needs and understanding. This also allowed us to gather the perspective of crew members who would be deployed and therefore unable to attend connecting workshops.
One week later, the GE team and the customer gathered for a three day workshop where we reviewed the research and sketched condition based maintenance solutions with the customer. The following are those sketches.
